At AZ Champions, we believe real change comes through connection, education, and collective action.

Our Events page is your go-to hub for opportunities to learn, network, and make a tangible impact for students with disabilities across Arizona.

  • Monthly webinars and trainings addressing special education law, inclusion practices, and student rights.
  • Stakeholder roundtables and listening sessions, where families, attorneys, and advocates come together to share experiences and shape meaningful solutions.
  • Quarterly virtual meetings and statewide conferences to build skills, grow your network, and stay informed on policy developments.

Join us — because when we gather, learn, and advocate together, students with disabilities have a stronger voice and brighter future.

Champions in Action

Karla Phillips-Krivickas, the founder of
Think Inclusion & a state board member, said she overwhelmingly hears from parents who came to the ESA system because they were not able to get the special education services they needed and are grateful to have the option of ESAS. “We are not talking about what is prompting these parents to leave public schools,” said Phillips-Krivickas, speaking as an advocate.

– Arizona Republic June 27, 2022

Listen to what my brilliant friend Karla has to say about what to do to better support students with disabilities. Bringing her mama-bear heart to the table, she is my absolute authority on these issues.”

– Stephanie Krauss, Advocate & Author
